Shri Partha Bose is a widely acknowledged Sitar player and a much-respected artist in the arena of contemporary Hindustani Classical Music. Born on January 21, 1962, Pt. Bose was initiated to the Sitar at the age of six and thereafter underwent intensive training in the tradition of Guru-Shishya parampara under the tutelage of Pandit Monoj Shankar of the famous Maihar Gharana.

He has been a distinguished performer on radio and television and was invited by the Government of India to lead a cultural delegation to African countries on the historic occasion of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of India's Independence. His concert tours to the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, Middle East & Bangladesh have featured him in major international festivals as well as reputed universities: in performances, workshops, lecture-demonstrations, and teaching sessions. Voice of America, BBC Radio, South German Radio, Radio Bremen & Canadian Broadcasting Corporation have featured him in interviews & programmes to share his vision of music and life. The hallmark of his music lies in the seamless integration of technical virtuosity and emotional expression at their highest levels.

Probin Kumar Saikia

Mr. Probin Kumar Saikia has been a pivotal figure in Assamese folk music and has been successful to bring the folk culture of Assam and Noth East to the world platform. In 2006, Mr. Saikia has been honoured with the Title of Guru in folk music from the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. He has also been selected as the President of the North East Folk Art Association and has also been awarded Senior fellowship in the field of folk music by Govt of India. Mr. Saikia is also an empanelled artist of ICCR and a recognised artist of AIR Guwahati and Doordarshan.

He has curated several albums on Bihu and Tokari Geet and has produced more than 200 albums. His album "Gumseng" has been nominated for the best folk album in GIMA. He has also collaborated with Angaraag Mahanta in MTV's Coke Studio on several compositions.

He is the person to introduce a new form of genre which is 'Folk Musical Theatre/ Drama' which takes forth rudimental of the folk diversity of Assam and infused it in the form of theatre and drama. He has dedicated his life to enhancing the folk culture and bringing to the masses. Thereby, he has organised several workshops and seminars on folk song and dance which have been organised by EZCC, NEZCC, Director of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of India, and other prestigious organisations all around the country to propagate and popularise folk music among the mass and the younger generation.

Sudeep Sen’s prize-winning books include Postmarked India: New & Selected Poems (HarperCollins), Rain, Aria (A. K. Sen’s works have been translated into over 25 languages. His words have appeared in the Times Literary Supplement, Newsweek, Guardian, Observer, Independent, Telegraph, Financial Times, Herald, Poetry Review, Literary Review, Harvard Review, Hindu, Hindustan Times, Times of India, Indian Express, Outlook, India Today, and broadcast on bbc, pbs, cnn ibn, ndtv, air & Doordarshan. Sen’s newer work appears in New Writing 15 (Granta), Language for a New Century (Norton), Leela: An Erotic Play of Verse and Art (Collins), Indian Love Poems (Knopf/Random House/Everyman), Out of Bounds (Bloodaxe), Initiate: Oxford New Writing (Blackwell), and Name me a Word (Yale). He is the editorial director of AARK ARTS and the editor of Atlas. Sen is the first Asian honoured to speak and read at the Nobel Laureate Festival. The Government of India awarded him the senior fellowship for “outstanding persons in the field of culture/literature.”

Mr. Muttaquee Husain holds immense experience in the travel and tourism industry, especially with youth travel and outreach programmes.

Mr. Husain started his career from German Youth Hostels. His passion and dedication to the work promoted him to the Regional Association of Youth Hostels and ended as Director of Youth Travel and Leisure Activities Department of the Federation of Youth Hostels in Germany. After his long service of 12 years in Germany, he joined French Youth Hostel Federation, Paris, as Director and Head of the Department for Travel, Leisure Activities, Promotion and Communication, where he served for 9 years. With his experience in travel and tour operations, he then went on to establish his own Travel Agency, "HOLIDAY Maker" in Strasbourg, France. HOLIDAY Maker specialized in incoming/ receptive travels, tailor-made tours, and incentives. He presently works casually for the Police and court of justice for translation/interpretation from different languages to French and vice versa.

Coming from an academic background of teaching English and Soft Skill Development in high schools, professional institutions and latest in a Degree Engineering College, Pritimoy began his journey from his hometown Chandernagore and gradually completed his Masters in English Literature. To avoid asking money from his Govt.employee, now retired Dad, Pritimoy took the profession of an English teacher right after his graduation from Ramkrishna Mission Vidyamandir, Belur. Alike other middle class born initially, he too faced a lot of rejections in many high profile job interviews and however, the menace of unemployment in personal and familial level has impacted on him very much. This gave birth to the idea of starting his own start-up to eradicate the issues of unemployment in coming years both in personal and community levels. And then only, after working for a stint of 07 years he decided to quit his 9 to 6 life and co-founded ZERO DEGREE LATITUDE with his school mate, Debanjan.

He has received the DAAD Research Fellowship which enabled him to conduct research at the Martin Luther University, Halle, Germany. Alongside several research works and publications, he has been awarded Professor Vijay Kumar Thakur Memorial Prize for his research work.
