Here we will have the opportunity to witness how rice paper is made and to explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war. Have lunch at Ben Nay restaurant which is located on the bank of a river. Return to Ho Chi Minh city. In the city we will visit the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquerware factory and War Museum. Dinner on Saigon cruise river restaurant. A full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just a couple of hours by road from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City's streets. Take a boat trip along narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation and try exotic fruits in one of the many orchards on Thoi Son Island. For lunch sample the local delicacy, Elephant's Ear Fish. Visit the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda. Back to Ho Chi Minh City. Shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Dinner in floating restaurant. Overnight stay in Saigon.
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we will be transferred to airport for our flight to Da Nang. The local guide-cum-chauffeur will receive you at the airport and on the way to our hotel we will be visiting Cham Museum, Marble Mountains, Hoa Hai stone-carving village. After checking into the hotel we will have our lunch and a brief relaxation. In the afternoon, we will again hit the road for the city tour of Hoi An: visit Museum of History, Chinese temple and Pagoda, Japanese Bridge, Chinese old house. The evening at leisure for shopping at Hoi An's finest tailor shops, or whatever interests you. Overnight stay in Hoi An .
Today after breakfast, we will check-out and head towards Hue. En-route we will stop at Haivan pass and Lang Co fishing village to capture the scenic beauty and a glimpse of the local lifestyle. We will also visit Tu Duc Tomb. After this, we will take a break for lunch and after fuelling up our belly it would be a relaxing boat tour. We will take a pleasing boat trip on Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda. From there, we will move to visit the Imperial City and Royal palace and at the end enjoy shopping at Bong Ba market. In the late afternoon we will check into the hotel in Hue. Let the delightful day end with charms of traditional music show over authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Overnight stay in Hue.
It's again time to fly high in the sky. In the morning we will be transferred to the airport for our morning flight to Hanoi. The local chauffeur-cum-guide will greet us at the airport and will take us for a city tour where we will visit Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, Ho Chi Minh Museum and One-Pillar Pagoda. After the city sightseeing and lunch at Hanoi, we will be heading towards the Vietnam's paradise, Halong. Upon reaching Halong, check-in to the hotel and spend rest of the day in leisure. If you still have spirit of adventure left for the day then definitely check out the night market of Halong. Overnight stay in Halong.
This would be one of the most magical day of entire tour, as you would get to experience one of the most scenic bays of the world. We will embark on this fairytale ride in a private boat for a cruise in Halong Bay, a world heritage site recognised by UNESCO in 1994. Explore Dau Go Cave, Thien Cung Grotto, round over Tuan Chau Island, Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island and Sail Island. Savour the tastes of freshly cooked sea-food on board and enjoy the 360 degrees beauty. After this enchanting cruise we will be heading back to Hanoi this afternoon (or if you have fallen in love with this place we can just plan to extend a couple of days' stay at this magical bay). Today after breakfast we will be completing the sightseeing of the remaining portions of Hanoi. The tour will take us to the Temple of literature, Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Old Quarter & shopping at Dong Xuan market. After lunch the rest of the day is at your leisure for exploring the local vibe. Our recommendation will be to explore the local markets at 35 Old Street and Dong Xuang. Overnight stay in Hanoi
