On the arrival at Delhi airport, the chauffeur will receive and drive you to the hotel. Usually, the check-in will happen before lunch and post lunch, a short trip to the nearby attractions - Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Parliament, India Gate, Hauz Khas Village, etc. In the late evening, we will return back to the hotel.

Our today's exploration would take us through both palatial pompousness and spiritual serenity. We would be visiting the Leh Palace, Stok Palace and Shey Palace which exhibits the histories of the region; and finally ending the day with a serene note at the Thiksey monastery. It would be a fascinating tour exploring the localities of Leh surrounded by spectacular mountainous backgrounds under vibrant daylight and contrasting dark clouds.
Overnight stay in Leh.Today we will start off earlier than usual as it would take us almost 3 hours to reach Lamayuru. The early departure would allow us to explore the village conveniently. Lamayuru, also known as “moon land”, a lunar landscape with extraordinarily odd geological formations. The great Lamayuru monastery belonging to the Red Hat sect contains historic wall paintings, thangkas, scriptures, profound statues of Buddha and other revered deities. The afternoon and evening shall be leisurely spent by enjoying in the midst of lunar-like white stone surroundings.
Overnight stay in Lamayuru village.While returning back to Leh, a different winding route shall open up the opportunity to visit Alchi monastery, which is considered one of the most ancient Buddhist sites in the region, dating back to 10th Century. The handicrafts are quite famous and shall take much time on appreciating that.
This evening, Leh would be welcoming you with local music performance and gala dinner. Enjoy the food, music, laughter and last glances of the starry Leh sky, as you embrace your last moments of this trip.
