The 19th century, India, blessed with flora and fauna, never lost her beauty since then. The Reserve Fagu, the wildlife sanctuaries, riversides for the tourists at Jhalong, The Murti, Jaldapara and many more, it won’t end, the North Bengal is itself the longest trail one could ever experience.
After our arrival at NJP or New Mal Junction / Bagdogra, our chauffeur will drive us to Gorumara. With the completion of the check-in formalities, we will have our lunch and probably a bit of rest time shall contribute more to the energy of afternoon Jungle safari at Gorumara. After an engaging experience at the national park, we may visit some local sites or shall return to the resort for leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Gorumara.
After breakfast, we will be on for a day’s trip at around Gorumara by visiting places like the riversides of Murti, Bindu, and Jhalong. Then we may visit the Neora Valley Jungle Camp and have lunch en-route. In the afternoon, we will be visiting Jaldapara National Park for safari and also the famous Holong Bungalow built in the crux of the jungle. Later in the evening, we will be back to our resort for leisure, dinner and night stay at Gorumara.
At first, early in the morning we may go for an elephant safari at Gorumara and will return for breakfast and to prepare ourselves for our onward journey to Phuntsholling, the border town of Bhutan with India. With a quality time spent on visiting the Phuntsholling monastery, local markets and the view point from the back of monastery, we will return to our resort by evening and spend the rest of the day at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Gorumara.
After some lovely breakfast, we will be dropped at Fagu Tea Estate Bungalow where we will be spending 2 nights in leisure and tranquility. Once we reach Fagu, we will freshen up and go for a local trail then come back for lunch and rest. In the afternoon, we will visit the nearby tea factory to witness tea production and may taste some varieties. Later, spend the evening at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Fagu.
After breakfast, we will know about tea tourism in detail. We will visit the estate to find out the process of tea plucking and other related aspects of tea growing. Most importantly, Fagu is a heritage property and there will be enough stories to learn for another night stay at Fagu.
Our chauffeur will drop us at Bagdogra/ New Mal Junction/ NJP for the return journey.
