Itinerary

Day 1 - Tanzania arrival – Arusha

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) where our team will personally greet you at the airport. We will then drive to Arusha at Urafiki house. After a little resting, you will have a coffee plantation tour for some hours.

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park

As your last day of tour, you will still have few hours to explore the beauty of Kend. After breakfast, we will drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day game drive through the park with a picnic lunch. This park is known for its holding one of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Lions, giraffes, zebras well seen and over 500 different birds’ species to find. Later you will drive to Panorama Safari Camp for your dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara. Enjoy a full day game drive in the park with a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is best known for its rich variety of bird life and tree climbing lion. Elephants, monkeys, flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and storks, to mention a few also visible in Manyara. Later you will drive to Panorama Safari Camp for your dinner and overnight.

Day 4 - Lake Eyasi (Hadzabe & Datoga tribe)

After a very early breakfast you will depart from your lodge at 5:00 am to go hunting with the Hadzabe tribe. They are among the last hunter-gatherers in the world. Follow them while they try to catch an animal right in front of you. Later we will be visiting the Datoga tribe also. Later you will drive to Kudu Lodge in Karatu for your dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we will drive to Ngorongoro crater and enjoy a full day game drive through the crater. Ngorongoro Crater rim gives the nice panoramic views of the floor, Beautiful views of Ngorongoro crater hills and Green nature of the Ngorongoro crater as usual. All these will give you an incredible view you won’t need to stop seen it. Also, The Big Five, African lion, leopard, black rhino, elephant and buffalo are easily seen here. We will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife passing through the forested slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands before arriving at the rim of the crater. The crater is one of the most densely crowded game areas in the world, home to nearly 40,000 animals. Maasai children greetings & Environmental act event (2 hours: 12;00 PM – 2:00 PM). The event will have 2 components: Greeting the Maasai children at Ebeneza Maasai children centre, listening Maasai songs from the kids, Maasai culture and greeting the children teachers. You will plant one tree at Ebeneza Maasai children centre to support environmental conservation in the crater as the mission of the centre. Lunch will be provided. This 2 hours event is optional and free of charge. Later you will drive to Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camps for your dinner and overnight.

Day 6 - Seronera Valley (Central Serengeti)

Imagine immense short-grass plains that run to the horizon. Now imagine the plains filled with so many wildebeest and zebra that they run to the horizon too. This is just a glimpse of the incredible views at the Serengeti National Park. There is no other place in the world where you can get such a feeling of wild expanse. The Seronera Valley is one of many world famous attractions located in the heart of Serengeti National Park with vegetation changes do acacia dotted plains, where lions and leopards are often spotted. The banks of the Seronera River are lined with lush palm trees, sausage trees, towering yellow fever acacias, bird species and the Retima Hippo Pool. The Central Serengeti Seronera Valley supports a much greater diversity of resident wildlife than anywhere else in the Serengeti including elephant, giraffe, impala, waterbuck, hippo, topi, reedbuck, buffalo and baboon. This resident prey in turn attracts the highest concentrations of large predators in Africa lion, hyena, leopard and cheetah and a multitude of smaller predators. Later you will drive to Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camps for your dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - Serengeti Western Corridor

The vegetation changes to swampy and wooded savannah land. The Western Corridor has 2 large rivers which are Grumeti and Mbalageti flowing into the Lake Victoria. Huge crocodiles basking in the sun and patas monkeys are found in the area. The western corridor is an interesting area and one that contains good game and bird life year round. Later you will drive to Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camps for your dinner and overnight.

Day 8 - North Serengeti & Departing to Arusha

The Northern Serengeti remains an unexplored wilderness packed with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. The most captivating highlight of this area is undoubtedly the massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile and the rare oribi antelope. The Great Migration is in the Southern Serengeti in December - March, in the Western Serengeti April – June, Central Serengeti in June - August, and heads up to the northern Serengeti in September – November. After breakfast we will depart to Arusha. While on the way to Arusha we will keep viewing animals through the Seronera central Serengeti. Later after a short game drive in the park you will depart to Arusha city (7 hrs journey) and spend your Dinner and overnight at Urafiki house in Arusha.

Day 9 - Arusha to Zanzibar Island

At 12:45 PM you will start the journey from Arusha airstrip to Zanzibar city ready for the amazing Zanzibar tour. Later you will spend your dinner and overnight at Mazsons hotel.

Day 10 - Stone town tour & Zanzibar spice tour

Early morning we will depart to zanzibar with a fast ferry boat You will then have guided Stone town tours. The town was declared as The World heritage site by UNESCO. With the best tour guide in Zanzibar, you will walk on the footsteps of Arab Sultans of Zanzibar. Discovery of the wonderful labyrinths of Zanzibar, visit of the historical sites, presentation of the Zanzibar doors, their roles and significance. Then return to the hotel. Meals included. Discovery of spices, fruits, coconut tree climbing, and taste some of the Zanzibar fruits, Seating on the mat at the village at the end for lunch. Mbeya spiced rice, served with beef, turmeric-coconut sauce and cassava spinach/English spinach cooked in coconut. The categories of fruits served after delicious meal. Later you will spend your dinner and overnight at Mazsons hotel.

Day 11 - Prison/Tortoises Island Snorkelling

After breakfast you will depart from the hotel for Prison Island. Earning its name as a former prison for slaves and a quarantine station for Zanzibar and the mainland, nowadays the island gives you the chance to escape for some peace and quiet. The island lies just off the Old Stone Town, it is also a home to giant land tortoises that were imported from Seychelles in the late 19th century. Now it is more commonly known as a home of Zanzibar’s Giant Aldabran Tortoise colony, some of which are over a hundred years old! This endangered species came to Zanzibar as a gift from the government of the Seychelles. Once on the island, you have the opportunity to feed and pet the tortoises; if you have time you may also like to take a stroll through the forested interior where you will see a wide variety of birds, colorful peacocks, bats, and beautiful butterflies. Keep your eyes peeled too for the shy and elusive Duikers – an unusual tiny antelope species. It is fringed with a beautiful coral reef, ideal for snorkelling, and has a lovely white beach for sunbathing. This tour is a great way to see some history and wildlife, and also to see Stone Town from the sea as many old maritime legends would have done.. Later you will spend your dinner and overnight at Mazsons hotel.

Day 12 - Safari Blue & Sand Bank tour

After breakfast you will take a boat all the way south west of the Island to the fishing village of Fumba. Briefing on the day’s excursion. You will then board the dhows n set off searching the Dolphins (85% chances). The species frequently found at Menai Bay are Spinner and Bottlenose dolphins. Swim with them as long as they stay close to the boat. You will then go on to one of the selected snorkelling areas, while accompanied by a snorkelling guide to show you points of interest and to assist the beginners. You will then ride onto another island or sandbank for lunch. Lunch is traditional Zanzibar meal and typically includes a selection of BBQ fish, rice, lentils and fish curry. Chilled fresh fruit juice, mineral water and bottled soft drinks are available throughout the day. You will spend the remainder of the afternoon, relaxing, swimming or snorkelling. Return to Fumba by sail, if winds permit; setting off around 16h00 in your mini-vans and transferred back to your hotel. Later you will spend your dinner and overnight at Paradise Beach Resort.

Day 13 - Stone town - Kendwa

After breakfast you will drive all the way to Kendwa beach. The beach is the perfect place to unwind with a good book and a glass of your favourite beverage. This is also a haven for underwater lovers as you can also enjoy a day of snorkelling or scuba diving. Indeed, a place to relax for all type of travellers. Don't forget to stroll along the white sands of Kendwa and to take photos for your loved ones. Later you will spend your dinner and overnight at Paradise Beach Resort

Day 14 - Departure

As your last day of tour, you will still have few hours to explore the beauty of Kendwa beach. Depending with your flight schedule you will depart to France through Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar.
