A land, originally built and sustaining on the cultural pillars of the offbeat territories, welcomes one to be a part of an experience, unique to the state of Assam only, in the northeastern part of India. The state has some notable wildlife reserve forests like Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary, Dibru-Saikhowa National Park, Jeypore Rain Forest representing various parts of Tinsukia and Naharkatia areas besides Kaziranga. This trip will fuse in the greener Assam that is also responsible for maintaining its rich old heritage of civilizations through Namphake and Tai Phake Villages.
As you will be reaching the Dibrugarh Airport, our chauffeur will greet you and then we’ll set out for Naharkatia covering an hour or more drive. Once we check into the resort near Naharkatia, we will freshen up and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Achabam Tea Estate and engage in some tea touring experiences. Later, we will return to the resort for leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Naharkatia.
After an early breakfast, we will drive straightway to Dehing Patkai and also cover Jepore Rain Forest. En-route we will have lunch and will return to the resort. The rest of the day will be at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Naharkatia.
After an early breakfast, we will be heading towards two traditional villages called Namphake and Taiphake. A large gateway in Thai script welcomes all visitors to this quaint village of Namphake which is the largest settlement of the Tai-Phake community, which migrated from northern Myanmar two centuries ago in search of their other Tai clans such as Ahoms, Turungs, Siams, Khamtis and Khamyangs who had settled in Assam centuries earlier. En-route we will have lunch and proceed towards Tinsukia by afternoon. We will spend the rest of the day at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Tinsukia.
After an early breakfast, we will visit 2 sanctuaries in Tinsukia – Dibru Saikhowa National Park and Bherjan – Borjan – Padumoni Wildlife Sanctuary. We will have lunch in the middle of the day trip. Later, proceed towards famous Digboi Oil refinery, War Cemetery and Margherita, a wonderful golf course surrounded by Burhi-Dehing River and Patkai ranges and Lekhapani. Late in the afternoon we will return to the resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Tinsukia.
We will begin early as usual after breakfast and visit Sadiya, a small town located at the foothills of for Himalayan range. And, Rukmini Island situated on the mighty river Brahmaputra. After lunch en-route, we will visit 2 other places called Na-Pukhuri, a union of nine ponds situated at the south-east of Tinsukia and Kirti Tea Trading Centre. We will proceed to the resort by afternoon and spend time in leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Dibrugarh.
After an early breakfast, we will go for a day trip in Dibrugarh and return by the afternoon at the local market for shopping and shall have dinner in a popular eatery followed by returning to the resort for the night stay at Dibrugarh.
We will be dropped at Dibrugarh airport as per flight timing for the homebound journey.
