Quite contrary to the popular myth that Rajasthan is a desert only state, it actually houses a varied topography and includes from barren deserts to the oldest mountain ranges in the world; from scrub-thorn arid forests to lush water-filled valleys, subsequently giving rise to a rich biodiverse wildlife habitat, ranging from predators like the Great Bengal Tiger, leopard and Hyenas to herbivores like Nilgai, Chital and Langur among others. The state also houses hundreds of species of migratory birds from all around the world that can be a treat for the ornithologists.
Rajasthan’s biodiverse topography can be a treat for any nature lover, as nothing tells the tale of a native land more accurately than the oldest inhabitants of that region. Rajasthan welcomes for one of the most enchanting wildlife experiences in the country, apart from its historical legacy.
