Let our ostentatious mind breathe, take a break from the hullabaloos that occur in our cities, live like a free bird, seek for the authenticity of nature! Bring back the charisma, and enlighten our eyes with the serene, explore the history, know the secrets, and becomes a lover. Our path has already taken a turn to travel, but where? The colonial outlines of North Bengal that hold the ancient and antique classics and leave room for us to see the same popular destinations like Kurseong and Darjeeling with a completely different perception, for our enhancement of learning experience and thought process. On one side the living experience in the colonial set up of Coelogyne Homestay shall give a vivid idea about the British culture and shall take back to the history on the other, there’s Singtom the oldest Tea estate resort of India, built in 1862, located only 20 minutes away from Darjeeling. The resort is famous for its hospitality and is meant for genuine tea lovers across the globe. The coming four nights may not change our livelihood but can take us to that classic set of lifestyle to experience things with utter joyfulness and leisure.
Our chauffeur will pick us from NJP /BAGDOGRA and will drop at Kurseong. After checking into the colonial homestay we will have our lunch and shall go for a casual walk or just relax for some time. In the evening, we shall visit the Kurseong market and have dinner then return back to the homestay for the night stay at Kurseong.
After breakfast, we will be visiting few scenic destinations like Eagle’s Crag, St. Andrew’s Church, Tashi Samten Ling Monastery and Gidha Pahar to enjoy the sunset. Later in the evening, we will be back to our homestay for dinner and night stay at Kalimpong.
After an early breakfast, we will move towards the Singtom Tea Resort, Darjeeling. The delicious meals shall add the zeal, and we will visit the tea factories, and enjoy the tea tasting sessions and prefer to be in the Singtom premises to embrace the ambiance of the surrounding followed by dinner and night stay at Singtom.
Early morning we shall visit Tiger Hill for sunrise view at Kanchenjunga and return to the resort for breakfast. We shall engage in a half day trip at around Darjeeling and care our taste buds with meals in Keventers or at Glenary’s followed by our return to Singtom for leisure, dinner and night stay at Singtom Tea Estate.
After breakfast, we will be moving towards Darjeeling via Mirik for our homebound journey.
