Rio de Janeiro is green hills, blue sky, beautiful bays, islands, and marvelous beaches. Cluttered with the most famous beaches in the world and an inexorable verve of the nightlife, Rio is a habitat for lively species like you. After you check out of the airport, our chauffeur will greet you and take you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure by exploring the evening and nightlife of Rio.
Overnight stay in Rio.After breakfast, we set off on a tour through the city. Arriving at the station, the environment-friendly train will take us through the jungle to the top of Corcovado. On both sides of the railway you will have spectacular views of Tijuca forest, inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. On top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, you will stand in front of the symbol of Rio de Janeiro- Statue of Christ the Savior (38m) that was built in 1931. From the top of Corcovado, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its surroundings like the Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the Maracana stadium and the Sugar Loaf. Later you have the chance to go on a half-day excursion to the Sugar Loaf. The first stop is the Urca Mountain, with a wide viewing area that also offers the possibility to have a snack in the restaurant on top of the mountain. On the mountain of Sugar Loaf, you will have a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, bridge Niteroi, and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain.
After going down by cable car, the tour continues by car to the central regions of the old town of Rio where you can admire several old churches, monasteries, the main cathedral of the city as well as buildings in colonial style. Overnight stay in Rio.In the morning after having breakfast, our chauffeur will transfer you to the airport for your next transit to Pantanal. You will be received at the airport in Pantanal and will be transferred to your accommodation. Pantanal is a unique nature reserve with lakes and rivers and crystal clear waterbodies which are home to rare species of birds and animals. We will be exploring the reserve tomorrow.
Overnight stay in Pantanal.After breakfast, we will go on a horseback riding tour through the valleys to discover the amazing nature of Pantanal. During the walk, you will see birds and animals, as well as crocodiles that live in rivers, along the road. On the farm, you will have a delicious lunch. After lunch, you will have a unique opportunity to take amazing pictures of the wild untouched nature of Pantanal. In the evening we will be returning to the hotel.
Depending on the weather conditions, you may be offered another program for this day: Piranha Fishing in a near pond. Try to catch a piranha in waist deep water. Or if you are brave enough, you can swim with the crocodiles in the river. In the evening we may also try canoeing. Overnight stay in Pantanal.Pantanal is a riddle which can neither be solved in one day nor cherished. So today also, we will be in the vast marshy lands of Pantanal exploring the nooks of the largest wetland of the world. Depending on the weather conditions we will spot wildlife by jeeps, horses, walking or boats. It would be an exciting day and a completely different experience of spotting wildlife in the nature that you might have anywhere else in the world.
Overnight stay in Pantanal.Today, after a very early morning breakfast (around 5 am), we will go to the very heart of untouched virgin nature, in the mountain range of Serra de Bodoquena. After a 5.5 km walk through the jungle, we arrive at the 12 waterfalls (the highest waterfall in the south of Mato Grosso -Boca da Onca -156 m). You will have the opportunity to swim in the waterfalls, and if you cross the wall of water, you can go behind find the water curtain and explore hidden caves with stalactites. After lunch, you can relax in the hammocks or swim in the natural reservoirs. (Optional: You can rappel down a 70-meter being watched by a professional instructor). In the afternoon we drive to Bonito.
Overnight stay in Bonito.Bonito is a unique place where the age-old forests coexist with stalactite and stalagmite caves, magnificent waterfalls and exotic fish in the transparent waters of the rivers.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will visit the Blue Lake Cave, a unique geological formation of stalactites and stalagmites and water of sky-blue color. The sun's rays penetrate the water, creating a spectacular crystal blue spectacle. The grotto is one of the largest flooded caves in the world. In 1992, an expedition of Brazilian paleontologists discovered the petrified remains of mammals buried at the bottom of the cave - a prehistoric giant sloth and a saber-toothed tiger. After lunch, we begin our submarine journey through the crystal clear water of the river Rio da Prata. Snorkelling Rio da Prata surrounded by beautiful multi-colored fish makes us feel like in a giant aquarium. We immerse ourselves in the water and see even at a distance of 50 m amazingly colored underwater flora and fauna. We will visit the source Olho d `Á gua, the source of the river. Golden fish, piraputanga, pacus, and the marine flora and fauna will make the trip completely magical. Professional divers will accompany you and you will be provided with equipment and masks include. After an enthralling tour we will head back to our hotel. Overnight stay in Bonito.Very early in the morning, we depart to Campo Grande to take the flight to Manaus. You will be welcomed and transferred to your lodge where you will have a full board meal plan. During your stay in the lodge, you can enjoy the complimentary activities and services that your stay will offer.
Evening motorboat rides. Depart the lodge on a paddle or motor canoes, to listen to the sounds of the jungle at night, with the possibility to spot alligators (or other creatures). Once the guide spots an alligator he will try to catch a small one with his bare hands bringing the animal on board for a brief explanation of the habitat of this primeval animal, hunting methods and the animal itself. After a brief stay on board and many photos, the alligator is safely released to its habitat. (Animals are handled with care – and strict supervision is maintained so that no harm is caused to the animals). Monkey Forest The Monkey Forest is a restricted area where wild animals come and go as seasons pass by. There is always a feeding time schedule, under the supervision of the biologist and/or personnel with credentials to do so. Guests are welcome to visit, film and photograph the animals that may be on site, in a natural and safe environment. Visit a Caboclo House Depart the lodge on a boat or motor canoe, to visit a local family – called the “caboclos”, learn about their traditions and customs and the rich history of the Amazon, the rubber cycle, and much more. During the visit, you will see how the cassava meal is prepared and how they smoke the extracted rubber sap. Fishing A non-professional fishing activity. Depending on the season, you may catch the elusive piranha that nibbles your bait without a tug on the line or other species. The guide shows some of the tricks of the piranhas and how to catch them. Overnight stay in Manaus.We will spend this day in further exploring Manaus. You can choose any of the activities which you have missed on Day 8 and enjoy the experience of local lifestyle and livelihood.

Overnights stay in Saõ Luís Saõ Luís is a beautiful old city by the ocean. Not far away is the region with the cleanest air on the planet - Lencois Maranenses. The historical center is an open museum with numerous architectural elements and details, where stone-paved streets pass into narrow alleys. One of the most beautiful examples of French architecture of the XVII century is the Palace of Lions, richly decorated with columns, porticos, and stucco. Saõ Luís is also known as the reggae capital in Brazil. Its a city where you can enjoy windsurfing, diving, fishing or just lie down and breathe healthy air.After breakfast, we will depart for Barreirinhas. On the way, we will see plantations of Babaçu and Buriti. Barreirinhas located on the waterfront of the Preguiças River is a very peaceful and hospitable town. The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, located close to town is a rare gem with magnificent dunes sculpted by nature and at the period of March to September contains hundreds of lakes formed by rainwater falling at the season. After checking in at the hotel and having our lunch, we will begin the tour in a 4x4 vehicle to get to the heart of the Park, where we walk in the Blue lake circuit. It would be refreshing to take a bath in the crystal blue lagoon, sand slide down the water and finish off the tour by contemplating the beautiful sunset over the dunes. Return to Barreirinhas around in the evening. If you wish to see the other side of Barreirinhas, go out at night in the quiet streets of the city or simply enjoy on the riverside the calm waters and savoring a beautiful pizza at restaurants in the town.
Overnight in Barreirinhas.In the morning, we will embark on a speedboat for a trip in the calm waters of the majestic Preguiças River. In the banks of Preguiças River, we will spot igarapés, mangue, Juçara (açaí) feet, besides herons and torches. We will stop in the communities of VASSOURAS, also known as small dunes and here we can taste a delicious coconut water and observe the monkeys that inhabit there. We then follow to Mandacarú, a small fishing village where we will climb 160 steps to the Preguiças Lighthouse to enjoy the paradisiacal vision of dunes, of the river and its mouth, of the ocean. The typical vegetation of the region is all around until we arrive at Caburé, located between the River and the Sea. We will continue by boat until the town of Atins. After reaching Atins we will check in to our accommodation and get refreshed. In the afternoon, we will board a 4 × 4 vehicle to Canto do Atins, where we will have the opportunity to walk through the dunes of the park and bathe in its crystalline waters (only during the rainy season). Then we will continue to the restaurant of Luzia or Seu Antônio, where we will have the opportunity to try the famously grilled shrimp (not included). Later we will retire in the hammocks, feeling the cool and calming sea breeze.
Overnight stay in AtinsIn the morning you will have a trip to the Atins Lagoon and explore the isolated and pristine parts of the area. After lunch, we return to the guest house and on a motorboat, we leave for Barreirinhas. In the afternoon we will have our return flight from Barreirinhas to Rio.
