West Sikkim, prevailing history and beauty, the land which equipoises thesis and antithesis, mirroring it with the subject and the artist, is our next stop! We are here to witness RAVANGLA & RINCHENPONG, the mountain villages of farmland, monasteries and many more in next 5 days.
Our chauffeur will pick us from NJP / BAGDOGRA and straightway proceed towards Ravangla which shall take another 5 hours. En-route we shall have our late breakfast/lunch may be at Melli then will complete the rest of the journey. We shall check into the resort at around 2 to 3 P.M. After having some rest, we will be visiting the nearby Buddha Park also known as Tathagata Sthal and shall spend some happy 2 hours. Later, we will return to the resort by late evening and have our dinner followed by night stay at Ravangla.
Today morning we will be having an early breakfast to step into the spiritual attributes like Ralong, Samdruptse, Tashiding, and Ralong Palchen Choling. En-route we will have lunch and then shall visit Namchi for Chardham and Temi Tea Garden. Then we will return to our resort in the evening and spend the rest of the time at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Ravangla.
After breakfast, we will proceed towards Rinchenpong. En-route we will visit the Bon Monastery and Legship Temple. It shall take 2.5 hours maximum to reach the farm where we will be halting for another 2 nights to experience an organic vacation. We will have our timely lunch over some authentic local cuisine and shall go out to visit the Rinchenpong monastery and Poison Lake. Late in the afternoon will return to the farm and shall spend the time at leisure with bonfire, dinner and night stay at Rinchenpong.
With a healthy breakfast on the sunny threshold of the farm, we will witness the Kanchenjunga range and spend some leisurely time under the sun. The next half shall be explored through a farm trail and learning about organic plantations. A complete farm holiday will be continued with an ideal lunch and some balmy rest. In the evening, we may have some barbecue and bonfire followed by dinner and the nightstay at Rinchenpong.
After breakfast, we will proceed towards NJP / BAGDOGRA for the journey home.
