Itinerary

Day 1

The tour starts when our chauffeur will drive us to our pre-booked hotel from the Udaipur Airport. We will freshen up, have lunch and spend some time in the hotel room for leisure. In the afternoon, we will set for a serene boating experience at Lake Pichola and enjoy the view of a blissful sunset by the lake. We may visit the Bagore Ki Haveli to catch glimpses of authentic Rajasthani Folk Musical evening followed by dinner in a local restaurant and return back to the hotel for the night stay at Udaipur.

Day 2

Scheduled for a local sightseeing, the day starts with a wholesome breakfast and starts with a visit to the City Palace. A big tourist attraction is the Jagdish Temple. Enroute we will halt for an authentic Rajasthani lunch and proceed towards Saheliyon ki Bari (Gardens of the maids of Honor) and Museum. The afternoon will be reserved for something exciting like Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. As the evening sets in, we will return to the hotel for a lovely dinner and a cozy night stay at Udaipur.

Day 3

An early breakfast should be completed as it will be a long day to reach Jodhpur, the 2nd largest city of Rajasthan. We will have lunch en-route and straight away fall for a siesta after checking into our hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Udaipur.

Day 4

It’ll be a busy day on touring around Jodhpur before starting off for Jaisalmer. After an early breakfast, we will be on our way to Mehrangarh Fort, standing 400 ft off the city and enclosed on all sides by imposing thick walls. Next on the list is the Jaswant Thada, a white marble memorial built by Sardar Singh in 1899 in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. We’ll get a glimpse of the lavish grandeur of the erstwhile Royal family by visiting the Umaid Bhavan Palace that served as the principal residence of the Jodhpur Royal Family. After trying some local food for lunch, we will set out for Jaisalmer, nicknamed the Golden City. We will spend a leisurely evening at the Jaisalmer hotel followed by dinner and night stay at Jaisalmer.

Day 5

Today is special as we’ll be visiting one of the crown forts of Rajasthan, The Jaisalmer Fort. Ninety-nine bastions encircle the fort’s still inhabited twisting lanes. We will be exploring the historical imprints of the place with Havelis, Chowks, colorful markets and the view of Gadisar Lake. The local street food can be an excellent option for today’s lunch as food tells a lot about the culture of a place. The afternoon is reserved for an excursion to the Sam Sand Dunes. Later, we can reserve a camel ride into the desert to enjoy a magnificent sunset at the backdrop of unending sand dunes. The desert camp with local cuisine for dinner, assisted with a folk music performance will certainly be an experience to remember for another night stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 6

It will be a long day on our road to Bikaner, formerly the capital of the princely state of Bikaner. After an early breakfast, we proceed for Bikaner. Before checking into Bikaner, we will be managing some time for an en-route lunch. And, the first day in Bikaner will be spent on leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Bikaner.

Day 7

An early breakfast is essential as the first half of the day will be spent sightseeing in and around Bikaner and later we’ll be traveling to Nawalgarh, a town famous for its frescos and Havelis. The prime spot is the Junagarh Fort, formerly known as the Chintamani Fort. En route we will have our lunch before arriving Nawalgarh and the rest of the day shall be spent on leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Nawalgarh.

Day 8

After breakfast, it will be time for some architectural exploration across the eminent Havelis of Nawalgarh. We will visit some of the notable Havelis - Poddar Haveli, Aath Haveli, Morarka Haveli, and Bala Quila among others and then will proceed towards Jaipur. An en route lunch will be on the card before arriving Jaipur hotel by covering the day’s trip. The evening will be at leisure followed by dinner and night stay at Jaipur.

Day 9

After a healthy breakfast, we will explore Jaipur for the day including one such famous spot like Amber Fort. The day will be spent on visiting the legendary Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), followed by the City Palace Museum and the astronomical brilliance of the Jantar Mantar Observatory. As evening sets in, we shall visit the market for some traditional shopping on Rajasthani items. We will visit Chowki Dhani Village for a traditional Rajasthani dinner with music and dance followed by night stay at the hotel in Jaipur.

Day 10

After a sumptuous breakfast, we will prepare ourselves before the chauffeur is on time to drive us to Jaipur airport for the journey home.
