Wild Wild East

Be it one-horned or double-tusked, the deans and the feral of the Dooars will intimidate and excite you.

The dense evergreen flora of the Dooars is the host to a rich and diverse variety of fauna, from tiger to sloth bear, and elephant to rhinoceros. Nestled among the dense tropical rainforest are your jungle abodes, which would make you feel like living in the wild. From jungle watchtowers to jeep safaris to elephant rides you have it all to experience the rawness of the Dooars wilderness. You may need some real patience and good luck but spotting a Bengal Florican and a large heard of wild elephants in the corridor is not at all a rare sight. The most crowned one is definitely the the one-horned rhinoceros, which can be best spotted here after Kaziranga, in the entire country. The wilderness awaits to woo you!
